Ron Klain, Former White House Chief of Staff, Appointed Chief Legal Officer at Airbnb

Airbnb has announced that Ron Klain, the former White House chief of staff for President Biden, will be joining the company as its chief legal officer.

Klain served as President Biden’s chief of staff during the first two years of his presidency, and he was previously the chief of staff to then-Vice President Biden. In addition, Klain made history as the youngest chief of staff to a vice president in American history when he held the same position under Vice President Al Gore at 34 years old.

Prior to his new role at Airbnb, Klain was the chief legal officer at Revolution, a venture capital firm founded by AOL’s Steve Case.

Klain’s appointment will take effect at the beginning of the year, and he will be reporting to Airbnb CEO and co-founder Brian Chesky.
