Matthew Perry, known for his role as Chandler Bing on the hit TV show “Friends,” has passed away at the age of 54.
According to law enforcement sources cited by The Los Angeles Times, Perry was found unresponsive in his hot tub at his home. Authorities were called at 4 PM, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Apart from his iconic role on “Friends,” Perry also had a successful career as a film actor. Some of his notable movies include “The Whole Nine Yards,” “Getting In,” and “17 Again.”
Perry had a long battle with substance abuse, which affected his personal and professional life. He had not been actively involved in acting since 2017.
