First lady Jill Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, but she is currently experiencing only mild symptoms, according to her spokeswoman.
Following his wife’s positive test, President Biden has also been tested for the virus, but his results came back negative. White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated that the president will continue to undergo regular testing and will be monitored for symptoms.
Jill Biden will be staying at the couple’s home in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware for the time being, as confirmed by communications director Elizabeth Alexander.
